Winnipeg Jets vs. New York Rangers Prediction
- Pick: Rangers to win
- Odds: +133 (Tonybet)
The Winnipeg Jets have a tough task this Tuesday as they take on the New York Rangers. While the Jets are the top team in the Western Conference, the Rangers have been one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference all season as well. Both recent streaks of winning two straight games have also been impressive.
This isn’t an easy game for either side, but with it being played in New York, this could be a good time to back the Rangers. The Rangers play on one of the toughest home-ices in the sport and should have a great crowd for this big match-up.
Diving into the numbers, Winnipeg has one of the best defenses in the NHL, so it won’t be easy for the Rangers to score goals in this game. They’ve given up just 158 goals, which is by far the fewest in the entire NHL.

If the Rangers can’t match that, they’re going to find themselves in a tough position. However, the Rangers’ ability to also keep the puck out of the back of the net has been impressive this season, and with nearly 230 goals on the year, they should find a way to get a win in this game.
It’s going to be close and low-scoring, but the Rangers should find a way to get this win.
Colorado Avalanche vs. St. Louis Blues Betting Tips
- Pick: Avalanche -0.5
- Odds: -124 (Tonybet)
The Colorado Avalanche will take on the St. Louis Blues in an interesting Western Conference Showdown. Both teams are in the Central Division and have been two of the better teams for most of the season.
St. Louis did have struggles for parts of the year, but with four straight wins and their backs up against the wall trying to make the playoffs, look for them to continue playing the way that they have. Unfortunately, there’s going to be a one-game slip-up of them not doing so.

That game is going to be on Tuesday night when they take on an Avalanche team that’s arguably been the best in hockey all year. Factor in that the Avalanche have now won six straight and eight of their last 10 games, and beating the Blues seems likely.
Colorado has been doing anything they want on both sides of the puck in recent weeks, scoring six goals against the Calgary Flames last week and seven a week prior against the Detroit Red Wings.

If they can come out and continue scoring the way that they have all season long, currently with the most goals in the Western Conference with 254, this is a tough task for a Blues team that’s given up more than 200 goals this season.
Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Vegas Golden Knights Betting Tip
- Pick: Golden Knights to win
- Odds: +118 (Tonybet)
We have a potential Stanley Cup Showdown on Tuesday as the Tampa Bay Lightning will take on the Vegas Golden Knights. While both of these teams have struggled in recent weeks, currently sitting in fourth place in their respective divisions, we all know what they can do when they get hot.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have shown that recently, as they’ve won three straight games and have done so against some impressive opponents. Once the calendar starts turning, look for Tampa Bay to continue doing what they’ve done all season long.
They now have wins over the New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, and Florida Panthers in three straight games.
Vegas continues to struggle, winning just four out of their last ten games, but the recent win against the New Jersey Devils was impressive and does leave some optimism moving forward. With this game being played in Las Vegas and the Golden Knights needing this one a bit more to get back on track, look for them to find a way to win this game.
