Welcome back to weekly Footy Picks from Footy Prime The Podcast – one of the best soccer shows in North America.

The most interesting pick this time comes from Jim Brennan, who thinks Nottingham Forest will beat Everton. Nottingham has only one win in 5 home games this season. Everton has lost just once in their last five away games and has picked up three wins, including wins over Brentford, West Ham, and Crystal Palace.

However, Nottingham unexpectedly beat Aston Villa on their own pitch not so long ago, and they could repeat the success against Everton. Moreover, Forest may well play in deep defensive block with speed counterattacks, which is a great weapon against teams like Everton. Therefore, it is quite possible that Jim’s prediction will work out.

This week’s picks are as follows:

UPD. France – Austria 3:0. Amy made the right choice, France won comfortably

UPD. Bournemouth – Aston Villa 2:2. Bournemouth played better, created many chances, and deserved to win, but Ollie Watkins equalized in the 90th minute, and the match ended in a draw.

UPD. Ipswich Town – Coventry City 2:1. It was an even game in which Ipswich were slightly better at realizing their chances than Coventry were.

UPD. Nottingham Forest – Everton 0:1. Everton played better for most of the match and scored a logical goal in the 67th minute. At the end of the game, Nottingham could well get back on track, but the hosts failed to score.

UPD. Pittsburgh Steelers – Arizona Cardinals 10:24. Cardinals came away with an impressive away win.
