Boston Celtics vs. Phoenix Suns Prediction
- Pick: Celtics -5.5
- Odds: -121 (Tonybet)
The Boston Celtics will take on the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night in what could be a potential NBA Finals matchup. Boston enters play with the best record in the NBA at 51-14, up six games in the win column against the second-closest team in the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Phoenix is 38-27, but don’t be fooled by that record as they’ve dealt with injuries all season. With the expectation that they’re going to be healthy in this game, there’s a real possibility that they could win. Devin Booker returned in their recent game, dropping 27 points in 38 minutes.
Despite the recent stretch from Phoenix, looking better as an entire team, nobody’s been better than the Celtics this year.
They have the highest net rating in the NBA and, in the past 15 games, have posted a net rating of 16.8. That’s nearly six points better than the second-place New Orleans Pelicans. They’ve been able to do whatever they wanted on both sides of the basketball, posting an offensive rating of 126.4.

Phoenix is a solid team, but Boston is the best in the NBA and should be able to come away with the win against the spread.
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Philadelphia 76ers Betting Tips
- Pick: Bucks -8.5
- Odds: -118 (Tonybet)
The Milwaukee Bucks have been an interesting team, to say the least, throughout the past few weeks. Milwaukee has played better basketball under Doc Rivers, going 7-3 in their last 10 games.

They finally returned home after a brutal West Coast trip that saw them only win one game, and that was against the Los Angeles Clippers, who didn’t have Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
Despite the recent success under Rivers, Milwaukee still has much to figure out on the defensive side of the basketball. While that’s all true, the injuries to the Philadelphia 76ers are too tough for this team to manage.
Philadelphia enters with one of the worst net ratings in basketball throughout this previous stretch, posting a 109.8 offensive rating throughout their past 15 games. That’s good for the six worst in the NBA. In net rating, they have the fifth worst net rating in that span.

Milwaukee hasn’t necessarily been much better, posting a 2.5 net rating, which is good for the 11th-best in the NBA. Although they have struggled recently, there should be a good time for Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, and others to come out with a big win against a depleted 76ers team.
Dallas Mavericks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Betting Tip
- Pick: Thunder to win
- Odds: -477 (Tonybet)
Two of the top teams in the Western Conference will face off on Thursday when the Dallas Mavericks will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder are currently 45-20 and have won seven out of their last ten games.
The Mavericks’ struggles look to be gone, stringing together three consecutive wins despite a rough patch where they lost five of their last ten games. Dallas is eight games behind the first place in the Western Conference, but does have enough talent to be worried about if they do get into the playoffs. This is a big threat for them coming up, facing the Thunder and Denver Nuggets in their next two games.

They understand that these are likely the two toughest games remaining on their schedule and if they can find a way to come out with wins against the Thunder, that leaves the margin forever against the Nuggets a bit higher.
When we factor in that the Mavericks are playing a back-to-back, this is an even better opportunity for the Thunder to come away with the win. They’ve posted a 5.9 net rating throughout their past 15 games, ranking fifth in the NBA throughout that span.

This won’t be an easy win for them as Luka Dončić makes it tough on everybody, but the Thunder are the better team and should be able to win.
