Philadelphia 76ers vs Los Angeles Lakers. NBA Prediction and Betting Tips

Lebron James and the Lakers face off against the Joel Embiid led 76ers and should more than have their handful with the young roster. Anthony Davis and Joel Embiid match up well with each other, likely going blow for blow through the contest, so this match will likely come down to Lebron versus the overall solid 76ers roster.

After LeBron and Davis, the Lakers’ next best option is D’Angelo Russell, and he is by no means a clutch or game-changing player. The 76ers just have way more depth than the Lakers, with scoring coming out of a number of great options.

It also doesn’t hurt that Embiid has been going on an absolute tear over the last couple of games, dropping over 30 in each of his last five showings. On the defensive side of the court, his block numbers are also quite high, with five and four blocks in his last two games.

If Lebron is able to continue pausing time on his body, the Lakers may have a chance, but it’s unlikely. He will need to have an amazing game through and through to pull this one out.

The 76ers will most likely win this NBA game, covering a spread of 3.5 points quite easily with the trio of Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Tobias Harris.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Denver Nuggets. NBA Prediction and Betting Tips

The Denver Nuggets meet the Los Angeles Clippers, still missing Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon, which could really turn this matchup on its head. Without their number two and four scoring options, the Denver offence has to rely even more on Nikola Jokić.

Adding insult to injury, Gordon and Murray are two of Denver’s stronger perimeter defenders, leaving plenty of room for Paul George, James Harden, and Kawhi Leonard to slash to the basket and torch mid-range.

Nonetheless, this game will still be quite close because, at the end of the day, this is Jokić we are talking about. Even without a cast of solid players around him, he has such gravity on the court that it creates easy offence and free looks for his teammates.

With a handicap of 3.5 points, our pick is a solid bet as long as the Nuggets don’t get blown out, which is unlikely.

While the Clippers definitely have a stacked roster, this isn’t the James Harden and Kawhi Leonard from five years ago, and Denver shouldn’t be underestimated. There is a reason why the Denver Nuggets won the last NBA championship; don’t sleep on Jokić.

Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks. NBA Prediction and Betting Tips

It finally seems as though the Milwaukee Bucks are getting things together, and that could spell trouble for teams like the Miami Heat. After losing out on Damian Lillard in the offseason, Jimmy Butler and the Heat will be extra motivated, but that may not be enough to stop Milwaukee’s superstar duo.

The Bucks sit at the third seed while the Heat are at sixth; however, Miami is coming off a two-game losing streak while the Bucks have continued to play strong, winning their last two. In this NBA match, the Bucks should have all of the momentum going into it and will likely bury the Heat by the mid-fourth quarter.

It all comes down to how well Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard have been meshing over the last couple of games. When the two of them play well, it’s really hard for any team to stop them. With a potent inside-outside one-two punch, anyone outside of the red-hot Celtics will struggle to keep up in scoring.

The Milwaukee Bucks should have no problems covering a spread of 4.5 points. No matter what way you look at it, it’s doubtful the Miami roster has the firepower to handle the Bucks roster. Unless we see playoff Jimmy Butler, this one should be a wrap.
