Boston Bruins vs. Seattle Kraken Prediction
- Pick: Bruins to win
- Odds: +114 (Tonybet)
The Boston Bruins will take on the Seattle Kraken in an interconference NHL game on Monday night.
Seattle enters this game with a need to win if they want to make the playoffs as their season is looking bleak. With just 59 points, they have a ton of catching up to do.
As their season has gone on, it’s been their inability to score the puck. Their offence has been one of the worst in the NHL, scoring the third-fewest amount of goals in the Pacific Division.
They also have the fourth fewest amount of goes in the Western Conference. If that isn’t going to improve against a Bruins team that’s allowed just 161 goals, the second-fewest in the Atlantic Division, they won’t have a shot to win this game.

This is a brutal matchup for Seattle despite the way that Boston has played recently. The Bruins enter play just 3-3-4 in their last 10 games and have lost two straight. Their last two losses, however, came against the Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames.
They had a win earlier in the week against the Edmonton Oilers, 6-5. Jake DeBrusk led the way for them in that one and will look to continue doing so in an easier game against an average Kraken team.

Los Angeles Kings vs. Edmonton Oilers Betting Tips
- Pick: Oilers to win
- Odds: +100 (Tonybet)
The Los Angeles Kings have one of their toughest games of the season on its schedule as they take on the Edmonton Oilers. While this game is going to be tough for Los Angeles, it’s important to remember that they have the same amount of points as the Oilers do. Despite Edmonton’s near 20-game winning streak, they still have just 68 points.
That ranks them third in the Pacific Division and sixth in the Western Conference.
Los Angeles enters this game playing better hockey than Edmonton recently, going 7-2-1 in their last 10 games. The Oilers are 4-5-1 and have now lost three straight.
The issue, however, for the Kings is their inability to potentially keep up with a team like the Oilers. The Oilers have 197 goals, the second most in the Pacific Division and fourth most in the Western Conference.

They can score goals with the best of them, and considering the Kings only have 174 goals, which ranks as the fourth fewest in the Pacific Division, they could have a tough time keeping this one close.
Connor McDavid and the rest of the Oilers have to get back on track, as they’ve had some tough losses recently.
They lost to the Bruins, Minnesota Wild, and Calgary Flames. However, prior to that, they had beaten the Dallas Stars and the Arizona Coyotes. This is as big of a game as they’ve played all season, given both teams’ positions in the standings, so expect them to come out playing their best.

New York Islanders vs. Dallas Stars Betting Tip
- Pick: Stars to win
- Odds: -107 (Tonybet)
The Dallas Stars have 78 points, leading the Central Division. Their ability to score goals has been a massive advantage for them all season, as they have the second-most goals in the Central Division and third-most in the Western Conference.
They take on a New York Islanders team that’s arguably been one of the worst in hockey at points throughout the season. However, despite having a -28 goal differential, they are just seven points away from being in third place in the Metropolitan Division.
The Metropolitan Division is side by side outside of the top two teams. If the Islanders can go on a winning streak here and the Philadelphia Flyers and others start to lose games, they could jump all of them in less than three games.

That’s a huge factor here and something that Dallas has to keep in mind. If the Stars don’t come out and continue doing what they’ve done for most of the season, this could be a letdown game for them.
However, given this one’s going to be played in Dallas and their ability to score with anybody in the league, this is a bad matchup for the Islanders. New York has also given up the third most goals in the Metropolitan Division, so let’s look for Dallas to score goals in this one.
