We’ve got a big slate of Premier League games this weekend with all 20 teams in action and games stretching from early Saturday through to Monday. There are some great matchups on the schedule, so let’s look ahead with my best bets of the week.

Brentford vs. Liverpool (Saturday, February 17)

Liverpool come into this game with just two defeats in their past 35 Premier League games. They’re top of the Premier League and have the second-best form over the past four away games.

Brentford, meanwhile, have won just twice and lost six times over their past eight games. That’s the kind of form that would put them in the relegation zone. They now face a hugely difficult task against one of the Premier League’s best teams. Odds of -167 aren’t that big but I’d argue the chance of Liverpool winning is far better than the 62.5% the odds imply.

Pick: Liverpool (-167)

Newcastle vs. Bournemouth (Saturday, February 17)

We’re starting to see Bournemouth falter slightly after a brilliant start to the season. They haven’t picked up a win in their past five games, managing just two points in that time span. They now face a Newcastle team with two wins in their last three.

Newcastle are always tough to beat at home and with Bournemouth starting to look like the team we expected this season, not the surprise package that they were earlier in the year, you have to consider Newcastle a good bet at -118.

Pick: Newcastle (-118)

Manchester City vs. Chelsea (Saturday, February 17)

The home team are currently riding an 11-game winning streak across all competitions and they now face a Chelsea team who have looked absolutely dreadful at times. It’s a concerning period of time for Chelsea fans, and it won’t get any easier at the Etihad.

Man City have been winning at halftime in 10 of their 11 Premier league games at home and that gives us a very good chance of landing Man City to win at halftime and fulltime. They’re unstoppable right now and their 11-game winning streak also includes 32 goals, just shy of three goals scored per game.

Pick: Man City/Man City (-129)

Luton Town vs. Man Utd (Sunday, February 18)

It’s been another miserable season for Manchester United fans, but their recent form has perhaps gone a little under the radar. They’re one of just three teams to have won their past three matches and will be confident of beating Luton on the road.

Luton have just five wins on the season and are out of the relegation zone by a single point thanks to Everton’s points deduction. Luton have shown a lot of heart and determination this season, but they simply aren’t at the same level as Man Utd and will lose this game.

Pick: Man Utd/Man Utd (+154)

Everton vs. Crystal Palace (Monday, February 19)

It’s clear that Everton are in a false position. They aren’t a bad team and they’re only in the relegation zone because of the points deduction. However, they haven’t won in their past seven in the Premier League, which is a huge concern.

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson was taken ill this week and it’s unclear if he’ll be in the dugout on Monday, but it’s probably unlikely. The concern for his welfare could bond his players and inspire them to go out and perform for their manager. They might not win but they should at least draw, and double chance looks the value play at -105.

Pick: Draw or Crystal Palace (-105)
