I’m back to guide you through the upcoming Premier League matchweek with expert insights and analysis. Here are my five best bets for this weekend including a surprisingly undervalued Man Utd side and a Brighton trend that’s too good to pass up.

Arsenal vs. Wolves (Saturday, December 2)

I’m returning to the Premier League’s top team, Arsenal, to keep on winning and claim another three points on Saturday, although I also expect Wolves to score.

Five of Arsenal’s seven home games in the Premier League have seen both teams score. Impressively, Wolves have also scored in all but one Premier League game this season and that was their opener against Man Utd back in August. They’ll score at the Emirates, but Arsenal will have too much and will secure the win.

Nottingham Forest vs. Everton (Saturday, December 2)

Everton have found a way to score in four of their six road trips, only putting up blanks against good defenses in Aston Villa and Liverpool. However, Nottingham Forest have scored in all six of their Premier League games at the City Ground this season. Worryingly for them, but good for us BTTS bettors, they’ve also allowed the opposition to score in five of those six games. With Both Teams to Score landing in 83.3% of their home games this season we’re going to back that trend to continue.

Newcastle vs. Manchester United (Saturday, December 2)

I can’t believe I’m saying this on the back of a terrible 3-3 draw against Galatasaray, but Man Utd to win is a huge price at +280 here. There’s a reason why Newcastle are favorites but only one point separates the teams in the Premier League, and it’s Man Utd who are the team in the lead.

If it wasn’t for Andre Onana’s goalkeeping disaster-class midweek they’d have won easily, and in truth this team have played fairly well recently. They’ve managed to ride out tough spells against Everton to win comfortably, as well as showing a strong mentality with a last-minute winner at Fulham. They have three clean sheets in a row in the Premier League and I think they offer value at +280.

Chelsea vs. Brighton (Sunday, December 3)

When it comes to backing both teams to score there aren’t many teams in Europe, let alone the Premier League, who are more consistent than Brighton. Both teams have scored in all six of their away games in the Premier League, and BTTS has landed in every single of their league games this season.

As good as Brighton are, they give their opponents chances and against Chelsea it feels highly likely that we see both teams score and keep this wild Brighton trend continuing for another week.

Manchester City vs. Tottenham (Sunday, December 3)

Pedro Porro only has one booking so far this season, but the Tottenham defense is struggling and they’re about to face the best team in Europe. It’s even more worrying for Porro though, as he will be matched up on the right flank against Jeremy Doku.

Man City’s Belgian winger has been sensational this season, and the opposition can’t stop him. He’s direct and his quick feet have defenders running in fear. Porro will struggle against him, and I think is likely to give up a couple of fouls and end up in the referees’ book.
