It is good news for AL-Nassr, the Saudi Pro League, and the Saudi Project, as the league’s biggest and most high-profile superstar has shown indications of wishing to stay in the league until 2027.

According to Mail Sport, the 38-year-old Portuguese captain has told Al-Nassr his intentions to stay in Saudi Arabia well beyond his current deal, which runs out in the summer of 2025.

The legendary striker aims to stay in the SPL as he prepares for what will likely be his last World Cup for Portugal when he will be 41 years old.

For Al-Nassr, they will get to keep one of the best strikers the world has seen in recent history in their ranks as they benefit from his household status and leverage it to grow the profile of the Saudi Pro League.

This will likely be Cristiano Ronaldo’s last deal before he retires from football.
