Paris Saint-Germain vs Barcelona Moneyline Prediction
- Moneyline Pick: Barcelona
- Odds: +142 (Tonybet)
Paris Saint-Germain has endured a slow start to the 2026-27 season by its standards, with just one win in its first five competitive fixtures (W1, D2, L2). However, the reigning UEFA Champions League winners have turned things around recently and enter this match on a six-game winning run. They also have a perfect record in the UCL league phase, having dispatched Slovan Bratislava 6-1 at home and Manchester City 4-2 away.
“Unstoppable” would be an excellent way to describe Barcelona’s start to the season. Hansi Flick’s men have won each of their first 11 competitive matches, scoring at least three goals in all but one. Their UCL campaign began with back-to-back wins over Feyenoord (5-1) at home and Galatasaray (4-1) away.

Both teams rely on their scoring power to overcome opponents. However, the individual numbers give Barcelona an edge. Lamine Yamal (19 goals and assists) and Raphinha (17 goals and assists) lead the way for the Blaugrana, while PSG will counter with its star duo of Ousmane Dembele (10 goals and assists) and Desire Doue (six goals and assists).
Paris Saint-Germain’s main problem is a lack of defensive consistency. It has kept just one clean sheet in its 11 competitive fixtures (W7, D2, L2), while Barcelona has kept four (W11). That defensive advantage is enough to back the visitors, even though the Blaugrana are the underdogs at +142 against PSG at +141.
Paris Saint-Germain vs Barcelona Total Goals Prediction
- Total Goals Pick: Over 4.5 Goals
- Odds: +110 (Tonybet)
Paris Saint-Germain has scored at least three goals in its last three competitive fixtures and four times during its six-game winning streak across all competitions. Its record is even better in the Champions League, where the team has found the back of the net 10 times in just two fixtures.
Barcelona has scored nine goals in its first two UCL matches, and no club in Europe has scored more so far. With 48 goals in their 11 games across all competitions, the Blaugrana have shown that opponents struggle to slow down their red-hot attack, which has been prolific both at home (4.4 goals per game) and away (4.33 goals). Two of PSG’s last six matches and four of Barcelona’s last six have produced five goals or more.

Paris Saint-Germain is averaging 3.17 goals scored and 1.0 goals allowed per game across its last six matches, while the Blaugrana are scoring 4.33 and conceding 1.33 over the same period. Neither defence has been airtight: both PSG and Barca have posted just one clean sheet in their last six outings.
Two of Europe’s best attacks are facing two defences that keep conceding, which points to an open, stretched match, so I’m taking the over.
Paris Saint-Germain vs Barcelona Combo
- Combo: Draw/FC Barcelona + Both Teams to Score
- Odds: -113 (Tonybet)
I’m backing Barcelona on the double chance here because, if any team has the quality to end the Blaugrana’s impressive winning streak, it’s PSG. However, Barcelona’s attacking quality and season-long numbers show it also has what it takes to trouble Paris Saint-Germain’s defence.
I’m also backing both teams to score because the numbers are clear. Scoring prowess aside, BTTS has landed in eight of PSG’s last nine matches and six of Barcelona’s last seven in all competitions. Both legs tell the same story: an open game in which the Blaugrana at least avoid defeat and both attacks find the back of the net.

Paris Saint-Germain Team News
Out: Nuno Mendes (thigh), Senny Mayulu (doubtful, thigh), Maghnes Akliouche (doubtful, ankle).
PSG’s biggest loss is Nuno Mendes, who is set to miss several weeks with a thigh injury. That means Lucas Digne will have to start on the left side of the defence. However, the former Aston Villa defender isn’t nearly as good defensively as the Portuguese.

Mayulu and Akliouche will be game-time calls for this clash, but neither is expected to start, with the rest of the squad fit. This will be a much-needed return home for PSG after its last two road games.
Barcelona Team News
Out: Andreas Christensen (quadriceps), Jules Kounde (ankle), Eric Garcia (thigh), Roony Bardghji (knee).
Barcelona will be weakened on the right side of the defence, as both Kounde (ankle) and Garcia (thigh) are sidelined. This should force Flick to start Joao Cancelo on the right flank, with either Alex Balde or Xavi Espart operating on the left.

Christensen and Bardghji are depth pieces whose absences shouldn’t affect the starting lineup. The lack of rest could be an issue for Barcelona, as this will be its third consecutive away game. However, given its current away form, that shouldn’t be a major concern.
