The Islanders are uncertain whether Semyon Varlamov (knee) will be able to return. Since the veteran goaltender remains on the IR, it wouldn’t be surprising if he’s out of this game as well. Alexander Romanov (shoulder) will miss the rest of the regular season, while the forward duo of Kyle Palmieri (knee) and Pierre Engvall (ankle) will miss the rest of the 2025-26 campaign altogether.
