San Antonio Spurs vs Oklahoma City Thunder Moneyline Prediction
- Moneyline Pick: San Antonio Spurs
It’s win-or-go-home time for the Spurs. After a 127-114 loss to the Thunder in their last encounter, in which they couldn’t quite catch up to OKC’s runs, they now face elimination just one step away from the 2026 NBA Finals. San Antonio must win here to force a decisive Game 7 in Oklahoma City. They can take confidence from their strong home form, having gone 5-3 at home during the playoffs.
The Thunder know they’re just 48 minutes away from reaching the NBA Finals for a second consecutive season, but it won’t be easy to achieve that goal. They remain shorthanded without two of their most reliable scoring weapons. OKC also own a 5-1 road record in the playoffs, though their lone defeat came in Game 4 of this Western Conference Finals series.
The Spurs have consistently responded well after losses, and Victor Wembanyama has also bounced back strongly following below-par performances by his standards. San Antonio are a tough team to beat at Frost Bank Center, and they should have enough to respond here and force a Game 7.
San Antonio Spurs vs Oklahoma City Thunder Player Prop
- Prop Bet: Victor Wembanyama over 40.5 points + rebounds
The Spurs have been at their best in the playoffs when Wembanyama dominates on the inside, and they’ll need another huge performance from him in this do-or-die clash. He was contained in Game 5 and finished with “just” 20 points, six rebounds, three blocks, and two steals across 38 minutes. The biggest issue was his shooting efficiency, as he went 4-for-15 from the floor.
However, Wembanyama should be able to bounce back here. He scored 26 and 33 points in the two games at Frost Bank Center earlier in the series. He has recorded at least 38 combined points and rebounds in three appearances during the Western Conference Finals. With the Spurs expected to lean heavily on him offensively, he could clear this line based on his usage rate alone (27.1 in the playoffs).
San Antonio Spurs vs Oklahoma City Thunder Same Game Parlay
- SGP: Over 220.5 points + Jared McCain over 2.5 three-pointers + De’Aaron Fox over 5.5 assists
It’s looking more and more like the Spurs’ 103-82 win in Game 4 was an anomaly, as the other four meetings in the series have produced at least 230 total points. There’s little reason to expect that trend to change here. The team need a win to keep their season alive, and given that they play at one of the fastest paces in the NBA, there should be plenty of possessions.
We’re pairing the over line with two guards making a major impact. We’re banking on Jared McCain to hit over 2.5 three-pointers and De’Aaron Fox to clear his assists line.
McCain provided a huge boost for the Thunder in Game 5 and has drained at least two threes in three of his last four appearances. His chances of hitting this line will increase if he remains in the starting lineup. As for Fox, he’s dished out at least five dimes in each of his last three outings, including eight in Game 5, while averaging 5.9 per contest during this postseason run.
San Antonio Spurs vs Oklahoma City Thunder Team News
San Antonio Spurs Team News
As has been the case in recent games, the Spurs are expected to be relatively healthy and without any major injury concerns. Even though Dylan Harper (leg) and De’Aaron Fox (ankle) looked bothered by injuries earlier in the series, both guards should be available and ready to handle their regular workload.
Oklahoma City Thunder Team News
The Thunder will once again be short-handed offensively, as they’ll be missing two of their most important players outside of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Ajay Mitchell has been ruled out due to a calf injury, while Jalen Williams is trending in the wrong direction and may be unavailable due to a hamstring issue. They’ve combined for 30.7 points per game in the current playoff run.
