Denver Nuggets vs Oklahoma City Thunder Main Match Info

Denver Nuggets vs Oklahoma City Thunder Moneyline Prediction

This meeting between two of the hottest teams in the NBA right now could easily serve as a preview of the 2026 Western Conference Finals. Denver are coming off a 136-119 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday. That comfortable victory was much needed after back-to-back overtime wins over the San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers.

The Nuggets enter this matchup on a 10-game winning streak. Their most recent defeat came at the hands of the Grizzlies on March 18, and they haven’t been beaten since. That said, six of those wins have been by single digits, making the contests a bit tighter than usual given their dominance.

The Thunder’s run isn’t as long as Denver’s, as they’re currently riding a seven-game winning streak after a 128-110 dismantling of the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. OKC’s most recent defeat came at the hands of the Boston Celtics, 119-109, on March 25, but even that loss to another title contender did little to slow them.

The Thunder are 14-1 over their last 15 outings and should put up a big fight here. However, playing at home gives the Nuggets a significant edge because of the altitude conditions at Ball Arena. While this clash could easily go down to the wire, Denver should come out on top.

This is expected to be a star-studded contest with the likes of Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Jalen Williams leading the way. However, we’re focusing on a role player who has been shooting the ball extremely well lately: Cameron Johnson.

The former Nets forward is coming off an 18-point performance in the win over the Grizzlies, going 8-for-12 from the field and 2-for-4 from three-point range.

Johnson has now scored at least 17 points in four straight games while shooting 60% from the floor and 45.5% from deep over that stretch. We’re trusting him to continue playing at a high level.

Denver Nuggets vs Oklahoma City Thunder Same Game Parlay

Our three-leg parlay begins with the expectation of this clash clearing the 230-point mark. That line has been hit in each of the previous three head-to-head meetings between these sides in 2025-26, including the most recent one that ended in a 129-126 Thunder win on March 9.

If the game unfolds that way, we believe Gilgeous-Alexander and Jokic will lead their respective teams offensively. Gilgeous-Alexander has been putting up impressive numbers all season and has yet to score fewer than 20 points in any outing.

Over his last 15 appearances, the reigning MVP is averaging 29.3 points, 7.1 assists, 3.9 boards, 1.7 threes, and 1.5 steals while shooting 57.0% from the floor and 40.3% from beyond the arc.

As for Jokic, he’ll likely carry a ridiculously high usage rate as the engine that keeps the offence going, which should translate into another strong all-around performance.

He posted a triple-double in Wednesday’s win over the Grizzlies, notching 14 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists across 31 minutes. He’s expected to embrace a bigger role on offence this time around, though, as he’s averaging 23.6 points per game in his previous three meetings with OKC this season.

The Nuggets will be close to full strength for this game. Peyton Watson remains out due to a hamstring injury, and that same ailment could keep Spencer Jones sidelined as well. However, neither was expected to start even if available.

Oklahoma City Thunder Team News

The Thunder will have their entire regular rotation available for this contest. The lone absentee is Thomas Sorber, but the big man had already been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury.
