Oklahoma City Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs Moneyline Prediction
- Moneyline Pick: Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder and the Spurs have met twice this month, and surprisingly, San Antonio have won both games – the most recent was a dominant 20-point victory on Tuesday just before Christmas.
Based on what has been witnessed in the first two encounters, it’s clear that the Spurs are one of the few teams that can cause real problems to the Thunder on both ends of the court
However, Oklahoma City remain the top side in the NBA by a wide margin, and a few losses aren’t going to remove their contending status any time soon.

The squad are going through their most complicated stretch of the season, though, with three of their four losses occurring in their last five outings (2-3), including the two against the Spurs.
The Thunder have the weapons to deliver a bounce-back performance and will have the edge of playing at home, where they own an impressive 14-1 record, with the lone defeat coming against San Antonio in the NBA Cup Semifinals.
Expect Oklahoma City to avenge that loss, though. If they make the necessary adjustments on the defensive end of the floor, they should be able to bounce back and secure a victory.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs Player Prop
- Prop Bet: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander over 32.5 points
If the Thunder are going to snap their winless skid against the Spurs this season, they need Gilgeous-Alexander to be at his best.
The star floor general posted 33 points, three rebounds, and eight assists in Tuesday’s loss to San Antonio, marking the fourth straight game in which he recorded 30-plus points.

The line of 32.5 points might be a bit high, especially given how good the Spurs are on the defensive side of the ball, but SGA has cleared that mark twice in his last three outings.
Don’t be surprised if he activates his MVP mode once again and carries the Thunder to victory against a difficult opponent.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs Same Game Parlay
- SGP: Spurs +9.5 + Under 235.5 total points + De’Aaron Fox over 25.5 points + rebounds + assists
Even though the Thunder are favourites to win here, we’re adding the Spurs to cover a relatively high 9.5-point spread.
That doesn’t mean that Oklahoma City won’t get the win, but it’s hard to see San Antonio losing by double digits here – even against the Thunder – based on how good they’ve looked in the previous two head-to-heads.
The total in points could hit the under as well. Even though Tuesday’s meeting ended with 240 total points, that was more due to the blowout nature of the game than anything else.

The NBA Cup semifinal matchup saw 220 total points, and considering how good these two teams are defensively, don’t be surprised if the total stays low again
Last but not least, we’re backing De’Aaron Fox to step up and deliver a solid stat line as the go-to option for the Spurs.
It’s unclear whether Victor Wembanyama will return to the starting lineup for this contest, but until that happens, Fox remains the primary scoring option for San Antonio. The star guard is in line for a bounce-back performance after posting 18 P+R+A (six points, three rebounds, nine assists) in Tuesday’s win.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs Team News
Oklahoma City Thunder Team News
The Thunder will be without Nikola Topic (groin) and Thomas Sorber (knee). Sorber is a rookie who won’t play in the 2025-26 season, while Topic doesn’t have a significant role in the rotation.
Several players are tagged as questionable. The list includes Jaylin Williams (heel), Ousmane Dieng (calf), Chet Holmgren (face), and Ajay Mitchell (concussion). Mitchell and Holmgren play key roles in the rotation, and their absences would be huge blows for Oklahoma City in this must-win game.
San Antonio Spurs Team News
The Spurs will be completely healthy for this contest. Victor Wembanyama might be added to the injury report due to left calf injury management, but he’s expected to suit up and be available for this matchup.
