The Atlas Lions certainly have enough quality to pose a threat to France, though the absence of Ismael Saibari is a huge blow to their attack. Les Bleus will need to work hard to get the win, but with Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, and Michael Olise, they should have enough quality to dismantle a combative Moroccan side. Expect France to punch a semifinal berth in what promises to be a cagey affair.

The Atlas Lions are likely to provide France with their toughest test of the tournament. Manu Kone is expected to get the nod over Tchouameni in midfield, while Thuram hasn’t logged a single minute at this World Cup. He’s a depth option behind the star trio of Mbappe, Olise, and Dembele.

Morocco will be without their top scorer, Ismael Saibari, after the Bayern Munich signing suffered a hamstring injury in the Round of 16 match against Canada. Sofiane Rahimi, who scored off the bench in that game, should take his place.
