France vs Morocco Moneyline Prediction
- Moneyline Pick: France
- Odds: -167 (Tonybet)
France entered the 2026 FIFA World Cup as one of the favourites, and they have more than justified that billing. Didier Deschamps’ men have won every match so far and have scored at least three goals in four of their five games, with the lone exception being their 1-0 win over Paraguay in the Round of 16. They’ve also looked excellent on the defensive end, with just one goal allowed across their last four encounters.
Morocco, however, aren’t an easy opponent. They reached the semifinals four years ago in Qatar and have looked outstanding here as well. They earned a 1-1 draw against Brazil in the group stage and needed penalties to get past the Netherlands in the Round of 32. They’ve generally looked less convincing against world-class teams than against lower-ranked opposition, such as Scotland, Haiti, or Canada. For example, they defeated Les Rouges 3-0 in the Round of 16.
The Atlas Lions certainly have enough quality to pose a threat to France, though the absence of Ismael Saibari is a huge blow to their attack. Les Bleus will need to work hard to get the win, but with Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, and Michael Olise, they should have enough quality to dismantle a combative Moroccan side. Expect France to punch a semifinal berth in what promises to be a cagey affair.
France vs Morocco Player Prop
- Prop Bet: Ousmane Dembele to score anytime
- Odds: +195 (Tonybet)
Mbappe has been unstoppable for France, but he’ll need to battle Issa Diop and Chadi Riad, so don’t expect him to have much space. He already struggled against a physical Norwegian defence, meaning that Dembele could step up for Les Bleus. The reigning Ballon d’Or winner has already scored four goals at this World Cup.
France vs Morocco Same Game Parlay
- SGP: France over 5.5 corners + Under 2.5 goals + Both teams not to score
- Odds: +260 (Tonybet)
France registered six or fewer corners in each of their three group-stage matches, though they’ve played with a more aggressive approach in the knockout stage. Les Bleus earned nine corners against Sweden in the Round of 32 and followed that with 12 against Paraguay in the Round of 16, making the over 5.5 corners line an appealing option, even if Morocco prove to be a tougher opponent.
The Atlas Lions are likely to provide France with their toughest test of the tournament. Norway rested several regular starters when they faced Les Bleus, making that match less demanding than this one is expected to be. As a result, this could turn into a low-scoring affair. Morocco have scored in every game so far, but without Ismael Saibari, it remains to be seen if they’ll have the quality to break through a French defence that’s coming off back-to-back clean sheets.
The Atlas Lions have also conceded fewer than two goals in all but one of their matches, with the lone exception being their encounter with Haiti. France have scored at least twice in each game at this World Cup, except for their latest win over Paraguay. The previous head-to-head meeting between these two sides was four years ago at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and it also ended with under 2.5 goals.

Manu Kone is expected to get the nod over Tchouameni in midfield, while Thuram hasn’t logged a single minute at this World Cup. He’s a depth option behind the star trio of Mbappe, Olise, and Dembele.
Morocco Team News
Morocco will be without their top scorer, Ismael Saibari, after the Bayern Munich signing suffered a hamstring injury in the Round of 16 match against Canada. Sofiane Rahimi, who scored off the bench in that game, should take his place.
