Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City Moneyline Prediction

Tottenham have had a disappointing season, but there were encouraging signs in Wednesday’s 2-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League

Unfortunately, their Premier League form has been subpar, as they’re riding a five-game winless skid in the competition (D3, L2).

Manchester City secured an easy 2-0 win over Galatasaray earlier this week and have now recorded back-to-back 2-0 wins after losses to Bodo/Glimt and Manchester United

The Citizens remain alive in the Premier League title race, and they know another positive result here could be crucial in maintaining that momentum.

Recent form tells the whole story here, and despite playing on the road, Man City should have enough quality to get the victory. They’re the better team on paper and should take advantage of the fact that Spurs will be without pretty much half of their Best XI due to injuries.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City Player Prop

Haaland found the back of the net in the 2-0 win over Galatasaray and leads the Premier League in goals with 20 in 23 appearances. Against a depleted Tottenham defence, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Norwegian add to his tally once again.

Haaland has a strong record against Spurs with four goals in seven Premier League appearances.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City Same Game Parlay

The first leg of our parlay features both teams to score. Given that the two clubs are depleted defensively and have been struggling on that front of late, this outcome makes plenty of sense. Five of City’s last 10 matches across all competitions and five of Tottenham’s last seven have seen both sides find the net.

Backing Haaland to score also feels logical given his record this season and his productivity against Spurs

City’s games have produced plenty of corners, with three of their last five seeing over 9.5. However, that trend hasn’t carried over to Tottenham, as none of their last three outings have cleared that mark. Therefore, under 10.5 corners looks like the right angle.

Tottenham Hotspur Team News

Spurs are extremely depleted due to injuries. They could be without Micky van de Ven, as the star centre-back missed the Champions League tilt against Frankfurt due to a “minor injury” but is hopeful to return for this clash against City.

Several other players will miss out.

The list includes Pedro Porro (hamstring), Richarlison (hamstring), Rodrigo Bentancur (hamstring), Dejan Kulusevski (knee), Lucas Bergvall (ankle), Mohammed Kudus (quadriceps), Ben Davies (ankle), and James Maddison (knee).

Except for Kulusevski and Porro, the rest of the injured players won’t return before March at the earliest.

Manchester City Team News

Manchester City lost Jeremy Doku to a calf injury after he delivered two assists in the win over Galatasaray on Wednesday. Mateo Kovacic (Achilles), Oscar Bobb (hamstring), and John Stones (thigh) are also unfit for this game despite being close to returning to action.

Ruben Dias (hamstring) and Savinho (undisclosed) are also sidelined with injuries, but unlike the aforementioned players, they’re still a few weeks away from being considered eligible to return.

The lone long-term absence is Josko Gvardiol, who’s out until April due to a fracture.
