Toronto Raptors vs Portland Trail Blazers Main Match Info

Toronto Raptors vs Portland Trail Blazers Moneyline Prediction

The Raptors have been one of the most surprising teams in the Eastern Conference this season. Even though they’re riding a two-game losing skid, they had won nine in a row before this negative stretch. Their return home after a brief two-game road trip should do wonders for the Canadian franchise.

Toronto have gone 7-2 at home, the fourth-best mark in the East, and have won seven in a row in front of their fans. Plus, the Raptors will face a Trail Blazers side that has endured its fair share of struggles lately. Portland enter this matchup having dropped three of their last four outings following Sunday’s defeat to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Raptors’ sizable edge when playing at home should be on full display here. Even though both teams have had identical rest since both played Sunday, Toronto have been much better at home than Portland on the road. The Trail Blazers also have a few notable absences, such as Donovan Clingan down low, which should tip the scales even more toward the Raptors.

Toronto Raptors vs. Portland Trail Blazers Player Prop

Barnes “only” grabbed five rebounds in 32 minutes during the 116-94 loss to the New York Knicks on Sunday, but he was coming off three straight games with double-digit boards prior to that outing.

Barnes isn’t expected to hover around the mark of 10 rebounds per encounter, but his energy near the glass and elite rebounding skills make him a popular pick for this particular scenario.

The star forward, who has been playing at an All-Star level this season with averages of 19.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and a combined 3.0 steals-plus-blocks per game, has grabbed eight boards or more in 11 of his 21 regular-season appearances in 2025-26.

This could be a strong value pick considering the Blazers are depleted in the frontcourt.

Toronto Raptors vs. Portland Trail Blazers Same Game Parlay

For our three-leg SGP for this contest, we believe the Raptors are going to wake up offensively after delivering two subpar performances on the road. The team have scored at least 110 points in all but two of their last 12 outings.

Even though those two came in their previous three games, Toronto should have enough quality to bounce back here.

As good as the Raptors are at home, they also do a good job of limiting their opponents’ chances, as they own a 110.4 defensive rating at home – the fourth-best mark in the NBA. Plus, each of their last five encounters has had 230 total points or fewer. We’re backing the under once again.

The spread also had a good chance to hit. The Raptors have covered the -4.5 spread in five of their seven home wins this season, as well as in seven of the nine games of their most recent winning streak.

Toronto Raptors Team News

The Raptors are close to sporting a clean bill of health. The lone absence is RJ Barrett, who’s out with a knee injury and isn’t expected back here. The loss of Barrett is significant, as he’s averaging 19.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. The Canadian forward has missed Toronto’s last four outings.

Portland Trail Blazers Team News

The Trail Blazers are far more depleted than the Raptors, and they’ll be missing valuable players on both ends of the court. Donovan Clingan is dealing with an illness and is questionable, but at least five players are slated to miss this trip to Toronto. The lack of depth in the backcourt could be an issue for Portland.

The list includes Jrue Holiday (calf), Matisse Thybulle (thumb), Scoot Henderson (hamstring), Blake Wesley (foot), and Damian Lillard (Achilles). Lillard will miss the rest of the season but is expected to be healthy for the 2026-27 campaign, where he figures to operate as the undisputed leader of a relatively young Blazers’ roster.
