Florida Panthers vs Boston Bruins Prediction

After an incredible 2022-23 regular season, the Boston Bruins faced an early exit from the Stanley Cup Playoffs, eliminated by this very Florida Panthers team. That’s behind them as they look to get back on track, and have done just that this season. Boston currently has the most points in hockey, with 29, and is 7-1-2 in their last 10. The loss to Florida in the playoffs last season is one of the main reasons for the bet. Boston wants revenge, and this is a good time for them to do it.

The Panthers are the second-best team in the Atlanta Division with 25 points and have gone 8-2 in their last 10. Aleksander Barkov is day-to-day and missed Florida’s last game against Edmonton. With the uncertainty around if he’s going to play, backing the Bruins is the best pick. Barkov has 17 points on the season, and while Florida scored five goals without him against the Oilers, it’s unlikely to see them do that against the Bruins.

While the game is expected to be one of the best of the week, what Boston has done this season has been more impressive. Boston sits with a +23 point differential, the best in the Eastern Conference by eight goals while Florida is only a +8. A clean injury report for Boston and coming off of a loss make them the clear bet in this one.

Look for David Pastrnak to add to his impressive point total of 29, ranking second in the NHL.

Pittsburgh Penguins vs New York Rangers Betting Tip

The New York Rangers facing off against the Pittsburgh Penguins is a spectacle not to be missed, showcasing one of hockey’s most storied and passionate rivalries. The Rangers are currently the best team in the Metropolitan Division, sitting with 25 points. They’ve done so behind a 8-1-1 record in their last 10 games.

For Pittsburgh, they’ve played well this season, but at 9-8, there’s more to be desired for the Penguins. However, they have the second-best point differential in the division, indicating that they’re playing better than their record indicates.

While the point differential is important, the Penguins’ injuries are piling up. Chad Ruhwedel, Pierre-Olivier Joseph, John Ludvig, and Sam Poulin are out. Bryan Rust, who is being evaluated for a lower-body injury, could also miss time.

Sidney Crosby, Jake Guentzel, and Evgeni Malkin have all impressed with point totals ranking in the top-35. Scoring hasn’t been a problem for the Penguins, but the play in the net has been.

Tristan Jarry has played well for parts of the season, posting three shutouts. However, he ranks 15th in goals allowed per game (2.60), 20th in save percentage (.910), and is 6-7 when manning the net. Igor Shesterkin hasn’t been much better, but he was injured. The past few years have proven that he’s one of the top goalies and should return to form soon.

Expect Artemi Panarin and Chris Kreider to put pucks in the back of the net on Wednesday.

Dallas Stars vs Las Vegas Golden Knights Prediction

The Las Vegas Golden Knights will take on the Dallas Stars on Wednesday, the team they beat in the Western Conference Finals last season. Dallas is eyeing a revenge game, aiming to maintain their top position in the Central Division. Dallas enters play with seven wins in their last 10 games and the fourth-best point differential in the Western Conference.

The Las Vegas Golden Knights have been elite once again, despite the two straight losses and 5-4-1 record in their last 10. They’re currently 13-4-2 and have a +20 point differential, the second-best in the Western Conference. William Karlsson, Jack Eichel, and Mark Stone all lead the way for Vegas, posting top-30 point totals.

When the two teams matched up on October 17, Vegas won 3-2 in a shootout. Jake Oettinger was sensational, allowing two goals on 34 shots. Given this is the second time they’ve played, and Vegas won the first match-up, backing Dallas here is the play. It’s tough to beat Dallas in general, and doing so twice in a season would be even more impressive.

Look for Joe Pavelski to help Dallas secure an exciting win.
