Las Vegas Golden Knights vs Carolina Hurricanes Prediction, Spread

The 21-6-5 Las Vegas Golden Knights will take on the 16-12-3 Carolina Hurricanes. Despite some of the struggles for Carolina this season, they’re still a team that can beat anyone on any night.

Carolina, having lit the lamp 100 times this season, shares the top spot for goals scored in the Metropolitan Division, showcasing their ability to go toe-to-toe with any team in the NHL

That’ll be put to the test on Tuesday as they take on a Vegas team that has by far been the best in hockey thus far. The Golden Knights have only given up 81 goals, the fourth fewest in the Western Conference.

The issue for Carolina, however, is evident by the amount of goals that they’ve given up. The Hurricanes have allowed 100 goals, leading to some disappointing losses. This could be the case again, as the Golden Knights have scored 113 goals, the second most in the Pacific Division.

If the Hurricanes continue to struggle in the net and on the defensive side of the puck, this is arguably the worst matchup for them in the league. The Golden Knights’ offence is nearly unstoppable, with Jack Eichel, Mark Stone, and William Karlsson leading the way.

I like what the Hurricanes have done in the past, but this is a rough spot for them. Vegas should dominate this game due to their high-powered offence.

New York Rangers vs Toronto Maple Leafs Betting Tips

The New York Rangers have proven to be a top-three team in the NHL thus far. Amassing 43 points, they not only lead the Metropolitan Division but also stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Boston Bruins at the pinnacle of the Eastern Conference.

The Rangers have struggled a bit in their last 10 for their high standards, winning six of their last 10. However, the team has won two straight, beating the Boston Bruins and Anaheim Ducks.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have also dominated their competition this season. They currently have a 16-6-6 record and have scored 106 goals, a tally surpassed by only one other team in the Eastern Conference

The past 10 games have been somewhat of a struggle, going 6-1-3. However, the way that they’ve played at home is something to note. At 9-4-2, Toronto has played well on their turf. The Rangers are 11-4-1 on the road, a testament to their ability to bring their A-game beyond the confines of Madison Square Garden.

Due to the Rangers’ ability to keep the puck out of the net, allowing just 80 goals this season, New York is positioned as the favourable pick.

If they can find a way to find the net, which shouldn’t be an issue with their 96 goals scored, I like them to come away with this win.

Vancouver Canucks vs. Nashville Predators Betting Tip

The up-and-coming Nashville Predators have been a pleasure to watch this season. With the help of Filip Forsberg, Roman Josi, and Ryan O’Reilly, the Predators have played very well this season. With how young they are, this wasn’t expected by everyone coming into the season.

Instead, Nashville has proven that they can win when it matters most and are way ahead of schedule.

If the Predators are to be taken seriously, this is another great test for them to show why they can compete this season. Riding the momentum of a four-game winning streak and an impressive 7-3 record in their last 10 games, the team has some confidence heading into Vancouver.

This will be their toughest task yet against a Canucks team that has the most explosive offence in hockey. With a remarkable tally of 120 goals this season, Vancouver has the most goals in hockey by almost 10. It’s been a collective team effort, with standout contributions from JT Miller, Elias Pettersson, and Brock Boeser.

This is a tough game for Nashville, but due to their youthfulness, I’m backing Vancouver and their high-powered offence.
