They did a good job of that for most of the game against the Hurricanes, which is why they were able to get out to an early 3-1 lead through two periods. If things are going to continue for them in this series, they’re going to need to get out to another early lead. The Hurricanes are coming off a series where they won in five games, but they also lost on the road in their one loss.

Given that they were able to go back home and come away with the win, it’s evident that they know how to win after losing games. With their backs up against the wall, looking not to go down 0-2 heading back to Carolina, expect them to do everything they possibly can. 

However, Madison Square Garden will continue to rock for their hometown Rangers, and that should help them come away with another massive win in Game 2.
