I’m backing CF Montreal to win in a battle between two underwhelming sides simply because they won’t be as affected as Cincinnati by the international call-ups and also because they’re playing at home. However, the clubs’ struggles point toward an open, back-and-forth contest.
Seven of Montreal’s last 10 matches in all competitions have seen both teams score, and the same goes for the Orange and Blue. With each of Cincinnati’s last four games also producing over 3.5 goals, and that line hitting in three of the last four competitive H2H meetings as well, a high-scoring clash could be on the cards here.
