Bayern Munich vs Club Brugge Preview and Team News

Bayern Munich Team News

Bayern Munich continued their dominant, undefeated run across all competitions with a 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund in “Der Klassiker” in the Bundesliga last weekend.

That win over their bitter rivals confirmed that there might be no team in Europe capable of slowing them down, with Vincent Kompany’s men having won each of their 11 competitive matches this season.

As impressive as their winning streak is, even more striking is that Bayern have won by at least two goals in seven of those games. That includes their two UEFA Champions League fixtures against Chelsea (3-1 at home) and Pafos (5-1 away).

Nothing suggests that they won’t be able to produce a similar outcome against a Club Brugge side that lost their previous UCL outing.

Bayern shouldn’t have any issues securing another big win. Led by the stellar play of their attacking trio of Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Luis Díaz, who have combined for 37 goals and 15 assists between them, along with a solid defence that has conceded no more than one goal in seven straight encounters, any result other than a comfortable win for Bayern would come as a genuine shock.

Bayern Munich predicted lineup vs Club Brugge (4-2-3-1): Neuer; Boey, Upamecano, Tah, Laimer; Kimmich, Pavlovic; Olise, Goretzka, Díaz; Kane.

Club Brugge Team News

Club Brugge enter this clash on a two-game winning run at the domestic level. Although, to be fair, their back-to-back 1-0 victories over Royale Union SG and Leuven aren’t a solid standard of comparison to what they’ll face against Bayern Munich.

The squad didn’t look their best in their previous UCL contest, which ended in a 2-1 defeat to Atalanta. Looking clearly overmatched, they lost the xG battle 2.96 to 0.86.

Brugge’s away record isn’t particularly encouraging either, with only two wins in their previous five matches across all competitions (W2, D1, L2). They did a good job against Salzburg (W 1-0) and Rangers (W 3-1) in the UCL qualifying rounds, but those teams can’t be compared to Bayern.

The Blauw-Zwart are likely to put up a fight, but that might not be enough to bolster their chances of pulling the upset.

Ultimately, Brugge will have neither the individual quality nor the tactical ability to counteract Bayern’s elite attacking power. The Belgian outfit may compete in stretches, but their chances of shocking the world and stealing points against the most in-form side in Europe right now are close to zero.

Club Brugge predicted lineup vs Bayern Munich (4-2-3-1): Jackers; Mejier, Ordóñez, Mechele, Seys; Stankovic, Vanaken; Forbs, Sandra, Tzolis; Tresoldi.

Bayern Munich vs Club Brugge Prediction, Odds

Bayern Munich have won by two or more goals in six of their previous seven competitive games, including two Champions League encounters.

Given that Brugge’s 1-2 loss to Atalanta proved to be unfair based on how the contest played out, it’s fair to expect that the Belgian outfit could once again look outmatched against the Bavarians’ powerful, dominant attacking line.

The Bundesliga giants have also scored at least three goals in all but one of their five competitive matches at Allianz Arena in 2025-26, with the lone exception being their clash against Dortmund, a result that can be easily justified given the opponent.

Brugge, on the other hand, have failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of their 10 away fixtures across all competitions this season, including two outings in the UCL (qualifiers included).

Unless the Belgian club deliver what can only be described as their best defensive performance of the campaign, which appears extremely unlikely given their recent results and performances, Bayern Munich should have little trouble cruising to another multi-goal victory, just as they have against most opponents at Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich vs Club Brugge Betting Tip

It’s becoming increasingly difficult not to believe Kane will score every time he steps on the pitch, and his record of 22 goals in 16 competitive matches in 2025-26 undoubtedly backs that up. The England striker has netted the opening goal in five of Bayern’s 11 outings and three of their previous five across all competitions.

Even though Kane has yet to score the first goal in back-to-back games in 2025-26, he looks poised to break the deadlock again here. The skilled, towering striker should set the tone for what promises to be another comfortable home win for Bayern.
