Several players have stepped up recently, including Alexandre Texier, who’s riding a three-game, four-point streak. However, more is expected out of Slafkovský (goalless in four) and Cole Caufield (one goal, seven total shots).

The Lightning need all their players at peak form to turn things around, and while there’s a heavy burden on Kucherov, the rest of the forwards must step up as well.

Tampa Bay’s chances of staying alive lie with the trio of Kucherov, Brandon Hagel, and Jake Guentzel, who have combined for nine goals, 12 assists, and 50 shots on goal in the series.
