Boston Bruins vs Buffalo Sabres Moneyline Prediction
- Moneyline Pick: Buffalo Sabres
The Bruins have been trending in the wrong direction. Their results against a Buffalo Sabres franchise that’s returned to the playoffs for the first time since the 2010-11 campaign have been far from impressive. Boston dropped Game 1, bounced back in Game 2, and lost Game 3, looking unsettled and mustering only one goal in a 3-1 defeat.
However, the Sabres’ dominant display in the series shouldn’t come as a surprise. They finished the regular season with the second-best record in the Eastern Conference at 109 points (W50, L23, OT9) and delivered excellent results on the road, going W24, L13, OT4.

Boston, meanwhile, posted a W29, L11, OT1 record at home and were close to .500 on the road.
The Sabres demonstrated that they have the weapons to limit the Bruins in Game 3, edging them in shots (28 to 25), face-offs (26 to 25), and hits (38 to 35) despite playing on the road. Goals and assists aside, Buffalo are winning all the little duels that are required to be successful in the playoffs. With momentum on their side, they are unlikely to ease off.
The Sabres know that a win in Game 4 would allow them to close out the series next week in Buffalo in front of their fans. The Bruins have looked outmatched, and unless they play with a greater sense of urgency, it’s difficult to see them turning the tide.
Boston Bruins vs Buffalo Sabres Player Prop
- Prop Bet: David Pastrnak over 0.5 points
Even with the Sabres holding the upper hand, the impact of David Pastrnak in the Bruins’ offensive scheme can’t be overlooked. The star winger has recorded one goal and four assists in the series and was equally influential in the regular season, tallying 100 points (29 goals, 71 assists) in 77 appearances.
If the Bruins are to turn things around, Pastrnak will need to be at his best. He’s registered nine shots across three encounters and continues to generate opportunities. While he went pointless in Game 3, he posted back-to-back multi-point performances in the first two contests of the series.
Boston Bruins vs Buffalo Sabres Same Game Parlay
- SGP: Over 4.5 goals + Viktor Arvidsson over 0.5 points + Tage Thompson over 3.5 shots
Our three-leg parlay begins with the likelihood of another relatively high-scoring clash. Even though Game 3 ended in a 3-1 victory for the Sabres, the previous two meetings produced at least six goals. Given Boston’s urgency and Buffalo’s elite offensive quality, a higher-scoring matchup remains a strong possibility.
If that proves to be the case, two of the best players on the ice should crack the scoresheet. Viktor Arvidsson has been one of Boston’s best players so far, recording two goals and a team-high 11 shots on goal.
Tage Thompson has been excellent for the Sabres. Aside from leading the team in shots with 16 across three games, he also has three points and a plus-3 rating. With Thompson heavily involved on offence, his shots-on-goal line looks attainable.

Boston Bruins Team News
The Bruins will be at full strength on Sunday, as they’re not dealing with any injury concerns. They’re not expected to tweak their lines or defensive pairings, either, meaning Boston should be pretty much unchanged compared to previous games.
Buffalo Sabres Team News
The Sabres will make a late call on Josh Norris (undisclosed), who is listed as a game-time decision. Sam Carrick (arm) is out, but could return to the lineup at some point next week. Justin Danforth (kneecap) and Jiri Kulich (ear) are both on injured reserve and will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
