St. Louis Blues vs Winnipeg Jets Main Match Info

St. Louis Blues vs Winnipeg Jets Moneyline Prediction

Both the Blues and Jets are coming off defeats in their most recent games. The Jets were defeated by the Ottawa Senators in overtime on Monday, while the Blues suffered a disappointing loss to the Nashville Predators thanks to a hat-trick from Filip Forsberg.

However, when looking at their recent form in a deeper perspective, it’s clear the Blues have a slight edge heading into this game.

The biggest advantage for the Blues ahead of this clash lies in the fact that they’re going to be at home. Their record at Enterprise Center is not promising by any means, with only six wins out of 18 contests (W6, L8, OT4), but at least prevents the Blues from constant travelling.

The Jets are W7, L8, OT1 when playing on the road this season but are riding a three-game losing skid away from home.

This game marks the beginning of a road trip for the Jets, and as often happens in the NHL, thanks to their packed schedule, the home-ice factor can be massive. Considering the Jets are on a negative run of results of only three wins in their last 10 games (W3, L5, OT2), and one out of their last five (W1, L3, OT1), it’s hard to see them having enough in them to get past the Blues.

The Blues are far from being a dominant unit, though. They rank dead last in the league in goals allowed per game (3.56) and have the third-worst attack in the league (2.57).

However, and even with those peripherals, the Blues have won five of their last 10 games (W5, L5). Look for them to get back to winning ways in front of their fans this Wednesday.

If the Blues are going to win in this matchup, they need Thomas to be at his best. The star playmaker has racked up three goals and six points over the Blues’ last five games, and he leads the team in scoring overall with 23 points (seven goals, 17 assists) in 29 regular-season contests.

Thomas was riding a four-game point streak (three goals, three assists) before failing to crack the scoresheet in the loss to the Predators.

Don’t be surprised if he gets back to his regular scoring ways in this matchup, as Thomas has seven goals and 16 total points in 19 games against Winnipeg throughout his career.

St. Louis Blues vs. Winnipeg Jets Same Game Parlay

For our three-leg parlay, we believe the Blues will come away with the win, although that’s mainly because they’ll be playing at home against a team that tends to struggle on the road and that has dropped 10 of their last 13 games.

There’s little separating these two teams, especially considering how much they’ve been struggling. There’s also a good chance to see a high-scoring matchup. Even if the Jets start Connor Hellebuyck and the Blues counter with Jordan Binnington, these two defenses haven’t exactly been rock-solid this season.

The Blues’ last five games have featured five or more goals, and the same outcome has happened in Winnipeg’s previous 11 contests (including overtime).

Justin Faulk closes our three-leg parlay, as the star blueliner could find a way to crack the scoresheet in this contest. He delivered an assist in the loss to the Predators and has notched four points in his last five outings (one goal, three helpers).

St. Louis Blues Team News

The Blues will be missing several regular contributors for this game. The biggest absences are Jordan Kyrou (lower body) and Nick Bjugstad (upper body), although both players are likely to return before the end of December.

The rest of the absentees are longer-term ones. The list includes Zach Dean (personal), Jimmy Snuggerud (wrist), Dylan Holloway (ankle), Nathan Walker (upper body) and Torey Krug (ankle). Krug is out for the rest of the 2025-26 campaign.

Winnipeg Jets Team News

The Jets will be very close to being at full strength for this contest. The lone injury concern is the availability of Haydn Fleury, who missed Monday’s loss to the Senators due to a concussion. He’s expected to be a game-time call for Wednesday.
