We’re back to a full Premier League slate this weekend and we have some great games in store, including a North London Derby. Things are really heating up at the top AND bottom of the table and this weekend’s games will go a long way in deciding the outcome of both title and relegation battles. Without further ado, here are my best bets for Matchweek 35!

Wolves vs. Luton Town (Saturday, April 27)

Luton may start the weekend in the relegation zone but they could escape it by the end of Saturday. They face a Wolves team who look like they’ve already given up on the season now that they won’t be relegated.

Wolves have been terrible in recent weeks, particularly in front of goal. In their past nine Premier League games they’ve managed to score two or more goals on just twice. They’re currently devoid of ideas in attacking positions and are lacking a clinical finisher.

Pick: Wolves Under 1.5 goals (+100)

Everton vs. Brentford (Saturday, April 27)

Everton have been the team on everybody’s mind this week, especially after their Merseyside Derby win over Liverpool, which not only boosted their chances of staying in the Premier League, but also damaged their hated rival’s chances of winning it.

As good as Everton have been, Brentford have been very good too and should be in the Premier League next season. They’ve managed to score two or more goals in each of their past three games, netting a total of 10 goals. That bodes well ahead of Saturday’s match.

Pick: Brentford Over 1.5 goals (+138)

Aston Villa vs. Chelsea (Saturday, April 27)

Chelsea followed a sad ending to their FA Cup run last weekend with a 5-0 humbling from Arsenal in the middle of week. They now have nothing to play for, a rising injury list that means they’ll be without nine players on Sunday (10 if Cole Palmer can’t make it), and a tricky away game at Aston Villa.

Villa have won their past two and are now six points clear of Spurs in the battle for that all-important fourth spot in the Premier League. Chelsea face a Villa team who are more motivated and have something to play for. Villa should take three points at Villa Park.

Pick: Aston Villa (+123)

Tottenham vs. Arsenal (Sunday, April 28)

They may be out of Europe, but Arsenal are still in this Premier League title race, currently sitting top (although Man City would overtake them if they win their games in hand). Arsenal have dropped points just twice in their past 14 Premier League games, including a defeat to Aston Villa and a 0-0 draw with Man City.

Both Villa and Man City can be very capable when trying to fulfil a defensive gameplan. That isn’t something seen often in Ange Postecoglou’s style of play at Spurs and their attacking DNA should give Arsenal, a great counter attacking team in terms of the pace of their attack, plenty of chances to pounce and take the win.

Pick: Arsenal (-122)

Nottingham Forest vs. Manchester City (Sunday, April 28)

Man City come into the weekend third in the Premier League table, and although they’d be top if they win their games in hand, they can’t afford to let anything slip. In recent weeks they’ve been the league’s form team and have seen both Arsenal and Liverpool slip.

Nottingham Forest are battling relegation, but they’ve been terrible in the last couple of months. They’ve not kept a clean sheet in either of their previous 10 games in all competitions and should be terrified at the prospect of a Man City team who have scored at least four goals in their past three league games.

Pick: Man City -1.5 (+100)
