Orlando Magic vs Toronto Raptors Moneyline Prediction
- Moneyline Pick: Toronto Raptors
- Odds: -213 (Tonybet)
The Raptors and the Magic meet for the second time in three days after Toronto secured a 129-99 blowout win on Wednesday. The Raptors have made a strong start to the 2026-27 season, going 3-1 in their first four games. Their only defeat came on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves (117-94). Toronto’s three wins have come by an average of 24.3 points, while the Minnesota loss was just as lopsided, by 23.

The Magic are coming off that loss to the Raptors and have stumbled out of the gate at 1-3. That poor start includes defeats to the Timberwolves and Atlanta Hawks, with their only win coming against the New York Knicks. Defensive struggles have hurt Orlando, as the Magic have the ninth-worst defensive rating (115.2) in the league.
The Raptors rank 13th in offensive rating (112.4) but lead the NBA in both defensive (97.9) and net ratings (14.6). Four games aren’t enough to draw meaningful conclusions, but the two teams appear to be heading in opposite directions. The Magic are also dealing with key injury absences, and the Raptors beat them convincingly earlier this week. Given those factors, it’s easy to see Toronto as the favourite on home court.
Orlando Magic vs Toronto Raptors Player Prop
- Prop Bet: Immanuel Quickley Over 2.5 Three-Pointers
- Odds: +104 (Tonybet)
Immanuel Quickley has been one of the Raptors’ biggest early-season surprises. The point guard has drained at least three triples in three of his first four games, including a 4-for-8 performance in Wednesday’s win over the Magic.
With Quickley shooting 35.5% from beyond the arc, he’ll likely need to keep up his current three-point volume to clear this line. However, he’s averaging 7.8 three-point attempts per game, and the Magic will be without their best perimeter defender, Jalen Suggs. That gives Quickley a promising opportunity to reach the target.
Orlando Magic vs Toronto Raptors Same Game Parlay
- SGP: Toronto Raptors -5.5 (Spread) + Over 226.5 Total Points + Scottie Barnes Over 21.5 Points
- Odds: +525 (Tonybet)
The Raptors have covered -5.5 in all three of their wins this season. Conversely, the Magic have failed to cover that spread in each of their three losses. All four of Toronto’s games have been decided by double-digit margins, while all four of Orlando’s have been settled by at least nine points.

I’m also backing the over based on the teams’ previous meeting on Wednesday, which produced 228 total points. With point differential serving as a key NBA Cup tiebreaker, neither side has a reason to ease off in garbage time.
Scottie Barnes should also have a good chance of clearing the 21.5-point line, having reached that mark in three of his four appearances this season. He is averaging 19.8 points per game, but that figure is dragged down by his scoreless performance against the Timberwolves on October 25. Expect Barnes to be one of the Raptors’ primary offensive options while Kawhi Leonard remains sidelined.

Orlando Magic Team News
The Magic remain depleted by injuries, as they’ll be without their leading scorer, Paolo Banchero (ankle), and their top perimeter defender, Jalen Suggs (knee). Both players are expected to miss multiple weeks.

That leaves 40% of their starting lineup sidelined, opening the door for players like Tristan da Silva and Anthony Black to take on larger roles. This should also mean a higher usage rate for Franz Wagner, who’s averaging 19.5 points per game this season.
After playing Toronto on Wednesday, Orlando has one full day off before Friday’s rematch. This clash closes a three-game road trip on which the Magic have gone 1-1.
Toronto Raptors Team News
The Raptors will be without Leonard due to a knee injury, with the forward expected to miss about three to four weeks. As a result, Ja’Kobe Walter could see more playing time at small forward. Toronto has no other significant injury concerns, but Leonard’s absence means RJ Barrett and Barnes will need to shoulder a greater offensive load.

The Raptors will conclude a brief two-game homestand with this matchup before embarking on a four-game road trip, which begins against the Los Angeles Lakers on November 1.
