Dallas Stars vs Winnipeg Jets Moneyline Prediction

The Stars went through a bit of a slump in mid-January, losing four of five games between Jan. 14 and Jan. 22 (W1, L4). Since then, the team have turned things around with four wins in a row, including a 3-2 victory over the Utah Mammoth on Saturday.

This means the Stars remain third in the Western Conference standings with 73 points (W32, L14, OT9), firmly within striking distance of the top two spots.

Sitting well outside the playoff spots, the Jets haven’t been playing well lately and remain one of the biggest disappointments of the 2025-26 campaign. Barring a late turnaround, Winnipeg aren’t likely to make the playoffs this season.

While they’re coming off a 2-1 win over the Florida Panthers, their overall form has been disappointing, with a W5, L3, OT2 record in their last 10 contests.

There’s no question the Stars have a clear edge – not only because they’re playing at home but also due to the impressive winning streak they’re currently riding.

The Jets rank as the third-worst away side in the Western Conference (W10, L15, OT2), and they don’t have enough weapons to get past a red-hot Dallas team. Look for the Stars to reach five straight wins here – a feat they haven’t accomplished since November.

If Dallas are to win, Jason Robertson should find a way to put his name in the scoring column. The star winger leads the team with 30 goals, averaging 3.58 shots per game, so he should have plenty of opportunities to score. Robertson is also playing well of late, with seven goals and 17 points across 15 appearances in January.

Dallas Stars vs Winnipeg Jets Same Game Parlay

The Jets’ calling card in the 2024-25 season was their defence, but that isn’t the case in 2025-26. The team have been struggling to prevent goals despite having Connor Hellebuyck between the pipes, and it’s difficult to see them finding a way to stop the Stars. Six of Dallas’ previous seven games have produced five or more total goals, which should boost the chances of this line being hit as well.

If the Stars get the win and produce on offence as they’ve done of late, with 3.5 goals scored per contest in their current winning run, the duo of Robertson and Mikko Rantanen should carry the scoring load.

Robertson has found the back of the net 30 times, ranking first in the league, and he also leads the team in plus/minus with +18.

Rantanen might not be as prolific as Robertson in the scoring column, but the star winger does lead the Stars in points with 66 (19 goals, 47 helpers) across 52 contests. Few wingers in the league are as creative as Rantanen, and he should use that to his advantage while playing a key cog in an offence that’s firing on all cylinders of late.

Dallas Stars Team News

The Stars might be a bit depleted on defence, as Lian Bischel and Ilya Lyubushkin are listed as game-time decisions due to upper-body injuries. Neither is expected to have a big role even if available, though both would add some much-needed blueline depth.

Tyler Seguin (knee) is on the LTIR list. He’s already confirmed to be out for the rest of the 2025-26 regular season, although he still has a chance to make a late comeback if the Stars make a deep playoff run.

Winnipeg Jets Team News

The Jets will have to assess Neal Pionk to see whether he’ll be available to play on Monday. Pionk is dealing with a lower-body injury and will be a game-time call for this one. The 30-year-old blueliner has missed each of the team’s last nine outings, and 10 of the last 12, while nursing this problem.

Two other defencemen remain sidelined for the time being and aren’t expected to return to the ice before the Olympic break. These are Colin Miller (knee) and Haydn Fleury (upper body), although there’s a chance both players could be ready to return in late February.
